About
Me
I am not comfortable sharing my identity at this time due to the contentious nature of this topic and my desire to maintain the privacy of my friends and family. I will share a few things about myself. I consider myself to be generally a nice person. What does “nice” mean??? Well, I love animals, nature, my life and my spouse. I like being polite. I’m a live and let live kinda person, try not to stereotype and believe you get back what you give out. That’s right PASers… your time is coming and hopefully your god, your friend or maybe even some life-changing experience will give you the chance to make a change and fix things while they are still fixable. I’m fascinated with finding new and intelligent ways of handling conflict, difficult situations and people. I believe that you can change the way you think with the very language you use. I believe in finding the beauty in the details and skipping over the stuff that isn’t important and the things you can’t control, which is most things. I don’t like making people feel bad or being in anyway responsible for making anyone feel that way and find myself obsessing over this often. I’m a lousy speller and I’m bad at sending thank-you cards or any cards. I put things off to the last minute, don’t see my friends often enough and tackle too many projects without finishing. So, that’s just a little bit about me but that’s just my side of the story. I wonder what you would say about me. I’ve been told that’s called self-awareness. Its ironic how that very characteristic which governs my days is the very one lacking in many PAS personality types.
this Blog
This is a blog about PAS (Parental Alienation Syndrome) and PA (Parental Alienation). This is my opportunity to clear my mind and share my own personal experiences with this phenomenon as a child of divorce, step-parent, aunt, sister and wife. The stories, insights and opinions are my own. The links are for informative purposes only. I simply hope you find the information provided here to be helpful. —thank you
